Octo is an electricity-free manual Blender designed to entertain children and push them to actively take part in meals preparation. The goal was to improve the sedentary and poor of interactions lifestyle that more and more children are adopting nowadays by creating a product which could help ignite their interest in the meal preparation process as well as healthy food consumption, turning the snack time into a fun experience to be enjoyed with the rest of the family.
The lid encloses the blades rotation mechanism: when the head of the octopus is pressed, the force is turned into thrust which activates the rotation of the blades, the more it's pressed the more the blades spin. The food inside the jug is chopped and turned into a smoothie.
